Nasci em Vinha da Rainha (Portugal). Fiz a escola em Portugal e trabalhei numa loja de alfaiate até 1984. Casei-me em Portugal e depois imigrei para o Luxemburgo.
Vivo em Mersch quase à 35 anos. Os meus filhos nasceram no Luxemburgo e trabalham cá. Trabalhei durante nove anos como operário no Ceodeux em Lintgen. Também trabalhei como empregada doméstica durante 25 anos. Hoje sou dona de casa. Sou membro da Comissão de Integração e da Comissão de Igualdade de Oportunidades em Mersch. Nos meus tempos livres gosto de viajar, jardinar e passar tempo com a minha família e amigos. Penso que é importante comprometer-me com um futuro melhor para nós e especialmente para os nossos filhos e gerações futuras. Com a dupla nacionalidade, portuguesa e luxemburguesa, quero ajudar à integração de todos os habitantes do Grão-Ducado do Luxemburgo.

Je suis née à Vinha da Rainha (Portugal). Je suis allée à l’école au Portugal et j’y ai travaillé dans un magasin de couture jusqu’en 1984. Je me suis mariée au Portugal et puis je suis partie pour le Luxembourg.
J’habite à Mersch depuis presque 35 ans. Mes enfants sont nés au Luxembourg et y travaillent. J’ai travaillé pendant neuf ans comme ouvrière à la Ceodeux à Lintgen. J’ai aussi travaillé comme femme de charge pendant 25 ans. Aujourd’hui je suis femme au foyer. Je suis membre de la Commission de l’intégration et de la Commission de l’égalité des chances à Mersch. Pendant mon temps libre, j’aime voyager, jardiner et passer mon temps avec ma famille et mes amis.
Je trouve qu’il est important de s’engager pour un meilleur avenir pour nous et surtout pour nos enfants et les futures générations. En tant que citoyenne de double nationalité, Portugaise et Luxembourgeoise, je veux aider à une bonne intégration de tous les habitants du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg.

I was born in Vinha da Rainha (Portugal). I went to school in Portugal and worked in a tailor shop there until 1984. I got married in Portugal and then moved to Luxembourg.
I have lived in Mersch for almost 35 years. My children were born in Luxembourg and work here. I worked for nine years as a worker at Ceodeux in Lintgen. I also worked as a housekeeper for 25 years. Today I am a housewife. I am a member of the Integration Commission and the Equal Opportunities Commission in Mersch. In my free time I like to travel, garden and spend time with my family and friends.
I think it is important to commit to a better future for us and especially for our children and future generations. As a dual citizen, Portuguese and Luxembourgish, I want to help the integration of all inhabitants of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
